Tuba Nest Orphan Education Center Opening Report | Tuba Nest Afghanistan

Tuba Nest  operates as an educational and nurturing center dedicated to supporting underprivileged children, particularly those who have lost both parents (father and mother) in need of care and guardianship.

This center has been established and equipped by EWSSO (Ehsas Welfare and Social Service Organization) Ehsas Charity Foundation, with the generous financial contributions of kind donors, including the family of late Tuba.

Attending Tuba Nest, children receive comprehensive educational and wellbeing services including:

• Formal school at one of highly achieving private schools in the city with provision of transportation from/to the nest.
• Three times Nutritious and organic meals
• Sports and physical activities
• Entertainment and educational movie show
• Qur’an teachings (recitation and memorization)
• Persian (Dari) reading and writing session
• Computer using skills
• Outdoor activities

In addition, the center provides:

• A fully equipped dormitory
• A standard dining hall
• Gymnasium for indoor sports
• Library and computer lab
• Fully equipped and hygiene kitchen

Official Opening Ceremony

Tuba Nest was officially inaugurated on 3 April 2026 (14th Hamal 1405) in a grand ceremony attended by:

• Board members
• Advisory council
• Religious scholars
• Scholars and university professors from Takhar
• Community elders and local leaders

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Habibullah Sharifi.

Following this:

• Professor Matiullah Hakimi presented the vision, goals, and educational programs of the center.
• Dr Sayed Hamid Jurmi representing late Tuba family pledged the support from stakeholder and stressed on community participation and contribution to the centre.
• Abdul Wahid Karimi spoke about the importance and virtues of supporting orphan children in Islam.
• Kifayatullah Ibrahimi expressed appreciation and pledged community support

The event concluded with a closing prayer by Ustad Syed Alam Sadid.
